[p4] Issues with e flag for jobs command in command line

I am writing a script for Perforce, and attempting to fetch jobs with
certain values in various fields, but for whatever reason, as soon as I
go over 3 fields in one command, it starts to return incorrect data. The
exact command I am attempting to use is this:
 

	p4 jobs -e "status=needInfo|open&jobtype=IT&priority=low|medium"
	 

This will return jobs in other statuses other than open or needInfo, but
when I take off the priority=low|medium field at the end, all works
well.
 
Any suggestions?
