Summary of Position
This is a Perforce Engineer position in the Systems Department to help  
support, implement, and plan the code and asset system infrastructure  
required by the studio.  This is a position that requires close  
collaboration with our technical staff, software engineers, and  
production users to best align technical solutions with production  
schedules and creative needs.
- Support 40+ Perforce server instances with a mix of code and assets
- Troubleshoot and support the thumbnail system
- Perform build/release/QA functions for DMG
- Support other DMG infrastructure, including Apache webservers,  
Oracle, and custom applications
- Write shell and Python scripts to automate tasks
- Setup, upgrade, and migrate Perforce servers
- Monitor all DMG infrastructure for performance and stability
- Test and tune servers to ensure the best customer experience
- Leverage VMWare where appropriate to reduce server cost, datacenter  
footprint, and power consumption
- Document DMG processes and procedures to ensure coverage
- Participate in designing and maintaining standard server  
Minimum Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years in a version control support position, preferably  
- Familiarity with Linux servers
- Excellent troubleshooting ability
- Pleasant, customer service-oriented personality
- Ability to prioritize, respond, and follow through on multiple  
requests in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent tracking and follow-through ability

Desirable Skills:

- Familiarity with Perforce, Linux, VMWare, Apache, Oracle, RHEL,  
Fedora, and Mac
- Resourceful problem solving
- Knowledge of programming (perl, python, shell scripting)
