[p4] Authentication in P4Com programs

Hey,

I've never used P4Com.  I have a user that is, but they are getting the "Perforce password (P4PASSWD) invalid or unset" message now after we upticked that server's security level to 3.  They are still able to log in and run their p4 client interactively, but their P4Com program fails.  How does the authentication with P4Com work?  Does the password or ticket value need to be passed in explicitly, or can it rely on an existing valid ticket?  Any ideas on why they may be getting this error?
