[p4] fstat digest of text file

I believe all files in the depot are saved in unix-style line end. The
transformation between the different kind of line ends are only done
during edit file operation which is usually by the information defined
in the clientspec.

It looks like fstat -Ol run on a text file reports a digest made with
unix-style endlines (\n) and not Windows-style endlines (\r\n). Will
this always be the case? Does this behavior change with the platform the
server runs on? Is it a server configuration option?
