Given that upgrading p4p is trivial, why not just do that and then you don't have to worry? (In fact, we made the same upgrade as you a while back and there was no problem at all.) -Wm -----Original Message----- From: perforce-user-bounces at perforce.com [mailto:perforce-user-bounces at perforce.com] On Behalf Of Doug Gilmour Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2010 6:44 PM To: perforce-user at perforce.com Subject: [p4] upgrade question Hello Perforce Guru's, Just a silly question, if you upgrade a Perforce Server to 2009.2 but don't upgrade the proxy, can 2009.2 clients connecting through this 2008.2 proxy still take advantage of features like shelving?
