[p4] How to get a list of opened and changed files?

I never needed this from the command line or in a script. In p4v, I 
enabled the Preferences/General item under "Files and folders" that says 
"Use a distinct file icon for modified file". Then, in the Pending file 
list and Depot view the icons are colored blue.
