Thanks for the info.  Let us know what version of P4V you are running
(P4V, Help, About) and what platform you are running.  Is there any
chance your server is using a load balancer or DNS round robin?  P4V
keeps track of the server's name, and if this changes, it can cause problems
because P4V cannot find the server.  You would be able to see this by
turning on P4V logging and checking the "p4 info" information in the
log and seeing if the host name changes.  The fix is to place an entry
into the /etc/hosts file (works on Linux or Windows) on the Perforce server (not
client) so that there is only one IP address and one name for the Perforce
server.
