[p4] [BUG][p4v-2015.2.1458499] Crash occurs due to libQt5CoreP4.so

Does the happen when changing workspaces?  I still want to eliminate a
change in the host name as a cause.  P4V caches information about the
connection, so if the connection name changes P4V can get
confused.  If you set P4V logging, make sure that whenever you see
"Server address", the name does not change.

Also, try a complete uninstall of P4V, erase the .p4qt file in your home
directory and try a complete reinstall of P4V.
